The seat area was much larger than expected for a counter stool.
Several flaws in wood (splits, cracks, rough areas).
NO directions in either box (ordered two of them) altho it clearly states on the outside of the box "complete directions enclosed." This made for a very frustrating experience.
Holes in one of the seats did not line up with the holes in the base. Added to frustrating assembly.

I had to make a drill bit of the allen wrench to not spend 1 hour per stool. After that, assembly was quick.We are hard on furniture and i am impressed with the sturdyness. The only drawback on these stools is that the seats laquer chips very easily. But for [$] per stool, i am very content.
