      We got 4 of these & they are truly are beautiful! I thought from the picture that the backs were pieces of wood with metal between the 'slats', but they are a solid piece of wood. We already had the matching table (these didn't make it the first time due to being destroyed in transit) & these are a perfect match! This set is in our family room next to the bar for extra seating. They are very sturdy & comfortable. Everybody loves them! One thing - before you put them together, take the plastic off the seats FIRST! My husband put them together before I was here, so he has to take them off so I can get the rest of the plastic off from the back. Not a big deal. Yes, they are heavy, but that is what makes them extremely sturdy! Other than that WE LOVE THEM! Don't hesitate to buy!!

      Service and delivery comments:

      The first try for these they were so banged up that FedEx didn't want to deliver them - so I never saw them. This time, they were here 3 days BEFORE the original estimate & looked fine. I was so happy to see them!

      EVERYONE I have talked to from Hayneedle in Customer Service has been the best!! I will definitely be shopping with you again!

          I am very disappointed with this product. The box that it arrived in was "make shift" and tattered. The washers and locking nuts for assembly were not provided. These cost [$] to purchase myself. The screws that were provided were not long enough and were cross threaded. [...]

          The product are perfect in my contemporary, yet eclectic newly rennovated kitchen space. A european flair with corbel accents that this piece provides, lends a sense of timelessness and greatness to the space. One of the legs was uneven, so adjustable metal feet had to be used instead of the feet provided. I was impressed with the comfort of the seat cushions and the ease with which the chairs swiveled.

              We bought the large table and 4 chair set a year ago and love the durability and large enough to put all the trimming on at Thanksgiving. They have very nice strong comfy cushions and they are easy to clean. It is very heavy duty and everyone has great comments when they come for dinner with the overall design. We were so excited to see the exact same style twin bars stools on sale. We bought them right away to match perfectly at our kitchen bar. We will have this set for many years and we believe we will never have to buy another set it is that nice.
