My wife ordered a set of bar stools online from a retail store for our new house, and after I pulled the first one out of the box (all 3 of them fit in one box disassembled), I immediately told her they were going back.
I went on the hunt for a nice set of bar stools for a good price tag, and found these at hayneedle. In my opinion, they are very much worth the price paid for them. I've gotten many comments from friends and family about how nice they look. They're extremely sturdy, and just as extremely easy to install...ONE TOOL (an allen wrench that's included) is all that's needed to put them together.
You won't be disappointed with this purchase!!

I like the over all look of the stools, not very comfortable,from the reviews I had the impression the seats and backs were much more padded and comfortable than they are. The swivels are nice but they don't have a solid feel to them. Over all nice appearance, not the easiest stools to assemble,not really difficult,but time consuming and tedious plus some of the screw sets spun out,like 5 of them and two of the back rests,one brace on two different stools split when tightened down with seemingly appropriate force. As a temporary fix until I find just the right thing they'll do. I bought 5 of them as a gift and would have returned them except for the packaging was tossed.

    Perfect for what I was looking for. Was afraid it was a lighter wood, but it is more medium cherry. Directions where fine, just make sure you read them all before trying to put together.

        For the most part...a good purchase. Hayneedle was good; placed the order on a Saturday and received everything the following Wednesday. The stools are pretty heavy duty with good hardware. Fit and finish on some of the joints a little sloppy (made in Vietnam).
